| The article suggests a new attribution of the saint's name mentioned in the «Moscow stanza» of the draft «Excerpts from Onegin's travels»: Mikhail of Chernigov. This attribution permits certain conclusions about the peculiarities of Pushkin's perception of history and of his historical thought reflected in his novel in verses. |
