| The article discusses the traditional ideas about an imitative character of early Lermontov’s lyrics. Comparative analysis of the young poet’s works and the “model” poems allows the author of the article to reveal the polemic character of Lermontov’s use of a “borrowed word” and to interpret such a “borrowing” as a specific method of poet’s self-expression. |
