| We consider Andrey Denisov’s work whose genre is close to that of the New Testament parable, its genre keynote being a ‘dissimilar image’. Applying the concept of apophatic theology to Andrey Denisov’s text, the author presents a detailed poetic analysis of the structure of the tale's imagery and comes to the conclusions concerning the social and literary purpose of the message of this writer who belonged to the Vygov Old Believer community. |
