This paper presents a comparison of radiation treatment using europium gamma ray sources and chemical disinfection of cutting fluids, sewage and sewage sludge, based on sanitary and microbiological parameters. We have investigated the effect of a number of technical bactericidal chemicals and chlorine-containing biocidal preparations as a method of chemical disinfection of cutting fluids. The bactericides considered can be recommended for the chemical disinfection of the cutting fluids in combination with other protection measures from biological damage, in particular, with radiation treatment methods.
