| Evolution of the socialist realism doctrine was aimed at achieving two goals: 1) to preserve its directive content for using it as a tool for exerting political pressure on the consciousness of writers, 2) to «adapt» the doctrine to the actual evolution of literary process. These goals are incompatible, therefore all the efforts of its theorists have failed. |
