Abstract
The motion of a satellite in the gravitational field of the rotating massive deformed planet is investigated. The planet is modeled by a homogeneous isotropic viscoelastic body of a Kelvin ? Voigt material which in the natural non-deformed state occupies a spherical region. The satellite is modeled as a material point.
