Mathematical models of the behavior of cortical and cancellous bones loaded with a shock-wave are presented. Computer simulation was used to study the deformation and damage processes in bio-composites, which are conventional counterparts of diaphysis of long tubular bones and flat bones of the skull, under a shock interaction with compact steel fragments of spherical, cylindrical and cubic shapes with the rate of 500 m/s. |
