Abstract
Mechanical tensile experiments of the cerebral arteries samples were used for the characterization of deformational and strength characteristics of Willis circle arteries and for obtaining constants of Mooney Rivling strain energy function of hyperelastic material. Finite element computer modeling of the blood flow in healthy and pathological Willis circle arteries developed three mechanical factors: wall shear stress, effective stress in the wall and blood pressure, that influence on aneurism occurrence.
