Theoretical research of the processes occurring during the upward flow of a two-phase mixture in a vertical well equipped with an electrical centrifugal pump was carried out. The mathematical model is presented. Based on the model, the program for calculating the main parameters of two-phase flow at the height of the well is developed. Numerical research of the upward flow of two-phase mixture in a well shows, that improving of the temperature conditions in the well can be achieved by a complex of measures to reduce heat transfer through the pipes of the well. Also, calculations show that using an electrical centrifugal pump and varying its flow rate, the depth of its location, the optimum temperature condition for the entire height of the well can be achieved, thereby preventing the formation of paraffin deposits or reducing its intensity.
