Abstract
The original methodologies of strain resistance of metal surfaces and coatings, adhesive strength of thin coatings using nanoindentation and nanoscratch-test by Bercovich indenter are described. Strain resistance diagrams of metal surface (aluminum, copper, iron and some its alloys) and adhesive strength of thin metal and polymer coatings defined with use this methodologies are demonstrated.
