A comparative analysis has been carried out of the efficiency of removing traces of water from oils (grade A and grade P) for hydromechanical and hydrostatic transmissions by different chemical desiccant dryers and vacuum drying. The analytical control of the dehydration process has been made using Dean and Stark, a crackle-test and Fisher analytical methods. The coulometric determination of water level less than 0.5% has been conducted for the mentioned samples of oils by the Karl Fischer method. |
