Block copolymers based on N -isopropylacrylamide and glycidyl methacrylate have been synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization. The chemical structure of the block copolymers has been confirmed by NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The block copolymers were used to modify aluminum surfaces by the «grafting to» method that allows one to control the hydrophilic properties over a wide range in the temperature interval 27–42°C. |
