This article examines one of the vectors in the development of the genre of Russian piano trios during the first decade of the twentieth century. It was associated with the creation of an individual art project combining the components of various genres. Leonid Sabaneev’s Trio-Impromptu, Op. 4, composed in 1907, is considered in the context of late-romantic trends, where the author intended to achieve a unique genre solution. |
