Abstract
The properties of pigment based on the waste of iron and steel industries have been researched. Comparative analysis of coloring ability of pigment when coloring lime-and-sand brick and concrete has been carried out. Strength characteristics of colored bricks and concrete have been studied. It has been demonstrated that strength characteristics of colored bricks meet the requirements of the state standard to silicate materials and that coloring is appropriate for concrete products based on white cement.
