| The influence of erythrocyte microvesicles on different thromboelastogram indices has been studied. The erythrocyte microvesicles are shown to have not only procoagulant activity, but also a pronounced anticoagulant effect slowing down the activation process of plasma clotting factors and fibrin formation. The microvesicles derived from the erythrocytes stored for 24 and 48 hours are found to act differently on the plasma coagulation process. |
