| The kinematics of bogie wheelsets in railway curves is studied by analyzing a complex motion of the mechanical system. Angular velocity vectors of the rotation points and the positions of the instantaneous screw axes of the wheelsets are determined. The occurrence of the sliding process as a negative phenomenon in the bogie wheelset motion is shown. |
