| The article investigates the problems of financing the artisan industry in the context of debates in the Third and Fourth State Dumas of the Russian Empire. The study is based on the analysis of speeches of Duma deputies concerning the artisan industry issues. The author comes to the conclusion that the constitutional democrats and Octobrians supported the increase in the budget financing for supporting the artisan industry. This support has allowed the General Directorate of Land Management and Agriculture to increase annual budget for artisan industry. |
