| The article examines the philosophical meaning of the border. This phenomenon is considered in the context of humanitarian cognition on the basis of non-classical philosophy which turns from «the world of science» to «the world of life». In the process of determining the border, it is essential that the opposites which form the border are meaningful for both sides. The border turns out to be an open space (the space «in between») in which different ho- rizons of meanings join together. |
