We consider the interaction of «3 pillars» of modern social life: spirituality (in the institutionalized form of cul- ture), economics and technology. In our times, it is exhibited through the impairment of culture and the flowering of economism, with the prospect of replacement of both of the former components with technology in the future. The universalization of technologism is the essence of globalization. We discuss its impact on the destiny of the social and on the identity of humans as a species.
