| Based on scarce historical sources, this article reconstructs major events related to the activities of Kuzma Minin, one of the organizers of the Nizhni Novgorod People’s Militia of 1611–1612. We also analyze some sources about Minin's ancestry, as well as information about his famous appeal to the citizens of Nizhni Novgorod and some other little-known facts of his biography. |
