Numerous experimental studies show a marked influence of strain rate on the yield stress, strength, hardening laws and other parameters of the deformation processes in various materials. Analytical approaches that take into account these effects of strain rate are presented in many researches, and continue to be developed. However, engineering approaches to within experimental and analytical advances describe complex phenomena at strain varying rates, are underdeveloped. Model of elastoplastic flow at strain variable speed, developed under the assumption that the deformation rate is a parameter, can fill this gap. It is built on a set of experimental stress-strain curves obtained at different strain rates.
