Abstract
First detected the effect of nanoparticles ensemble formation on the surface of the binary semiconductor film (PbTe) under the action of continuous laser radiation. It is shown that the defect-deformation (DD) theory of the nanoparticles ensemble formation in the solid phase in a continuous laser irradiation describes well the experimental results, in particular, gives a bimodal distribution function of the nanoparticles size, corresponding experimentally obtained distribution function.
