Abstract
The propagation of a passive scalar over a homogeneous forest canopy is studied with help of Large Eddy Simulation approach. The admixture transport from the canopy to the atmosphere is considered for two situations: the passive scalar concentration at the surface foliage is either constant or time-varying.
