Abstract
The mass transport of helium through a zeolite membrane was measured as a function of partial pressure of the hydrocarbons n-hexane and benzene. The mass transport of helium through zeolite pores was estimated from molrcular dynamics simulations. The loading of hydrocarbons in the zeolite pores was estimated from adsorption isotherms from Monte Carlo simulationns. The results from the calculations has good correspondence to experimental ones.
