On May 22, 2013, a meeting was held at Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod with N.А. Nikolina, Chief Editor of the journal «Russian Language at School». During the meeting, the history of the journal and the periods of its development were covered in detail. The discussion also included such topics as the culture of speech, innovative methods in the teaching of the Russian language, the problem of teaching Russian language in multi-ethnic classrooms, and the debatable issue of the unified state examination in the Russian language .
