| The article explains the role of various assets in the process of multiplication of money by commercial banks. We analyze the multiplicative potential of the banking system of the Russian Federation as a whole and of some commercial banks. The banks are grouped depending on their multiplicative potential in accordance with the established scale. We also assess the degree of participation of banks in the multiplication of money by the banking system. |
