The necessity to modernize the regulation system in economic relations between the industrial entities within the country puts before state authorities the challenge of development and further improvement of management tools. In this paper, we analyze foreign experience of state regulation of industrial production. As the result, the main factors of the industry development are identified and ways for improving the model of organizational and economic mechanism for managing industrial production in the regional economy are proposed.
