The article presents the results of experimental investigation of the physical and mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of submicrocrystalline titanium alloy PT3V (Ti-Al-V system industrial alloy). The titanium alloy structure control using the ECAP technique is shown to improve the SMC alloy thermal stability together with its strength, plasticity, hot salt corrosion and corrosion fatigue resistances. A qualitative explanation of observed patterns is proposed. |
