The study of features of peripheral blood leukograms of marsh frogs Pelophylax ridibundus (Pallas, 1771 habitating urban lakes has revealed the changes in their blood under the action of pollution and parasite invasion. Neutrophil granulocytes are found to be the most environmentally sensitive. Redistribution of agranulocytes (lymphocyte/monocyte ratio) is typical of parasite invasion. Increases in the relative content of eosinophil granulocytes and the decline of lymphocytes as dependent on parasite abundance have been established.
