| The article presents some new materials to the biography of the outstanding Russian archaeologist B.S. Zhukov (1892–1934). The documents under examination (including Zhukov’s personal dossier and his correspondence with Nizhni Novgorod historian S.I. Arkhangelsky, which are published in the article) throw new light on B.S. Zhukov's scholarly and teaching activity in Nizhni Novgorod in the 1920s. |
