| The article considers the evolution of ideas about the Bible as the object of popular teaching and interpretation, which were formed in Kiev Orthodox academic theological tradition from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century. These views were created in the process of comparing the experience of academic biblical studies with the experience of mass religious education and missionary activity. |
