The article discusses the role and place of operational investigations in the detection and investigation of crime, and how these activities are related to inquiry. The Code of Criminal Procedure requires that there should be the unity of understanding of particular cases between the inquiry and operational investigations agencies, while their functions should be divided. The author does not agree with legislator’s point of view and justifies his own position regarding the introduction of a separate rule to define the procedural status the subjects of operational investigations. |
