| Daily mean temperature variations for summer months in some cities of the Eurasian continent have been analyzed by factor, multifractal and Fourier analyses. The share of sharp intraday temperature swings is shown to increase with the size of the city and its latitude. At the same time, significant long periods of abnormal temperatures are more common for the central part of European Russia. |
