| The article presents an analysis of the gnoseological significance of the concept of episteme. The basic characteristics of the concept of episteme are highlighted. A retrospective analysis of Renaissance, Classical and Modern epistemes is performed. The conceptual significance of the concept is identified. The modus of man is defined, as formulated by the concept of episteme. |
