| The paper is based on the results of recent experimental and numerical investigations of mechanisms of turbulence production in transitional and turbulent wall-bounded flows. The evolutionary character of the mechanisms indicated above has resulted in the appearance of an idea about the possibility of existence of the deterministic (reproducible) wall turbulence that represents a flow. An example of application of this method to study of a mechanism of influence of the LEBU- (Large-Eddy-Break-Up) devices on turbulent flows is given in the paper. |
