Experimental and theoretical research of negative corona frequencies in hot turbulent air jet was carried out. Experiments were conducted using a facility where a negative corona dis-charge was created in a turbulent air jet with the changes of its velocity and temperature at the nozzle cross-section in the ranges of 0?250 m/s and 290?650 K and in a wide range changing of the potential of the corona needle. Fields of velocity and temperature in a turbulent jet were cal-culated and its gas-dynamic frequencies were determined. The discrete mode of ionic component moving in the negative corona, caused by fea-tures of its structure in the internal ionization zone and characterized by its «electric» frequency spectrum was described. Dependencies of corona dominating frequency on the velocity and tem-perature of the gas and on the corona potential are obtained.
