Abstract
A closed system of two-fluid hydrodynamic equations is considered in connection with quasi-neutral plasma problems. The model presented takes into account electron-ion structure of the plasma and the quasistationary electromagnetic field. The analysis of numerous important plasma effects, based on mathematical model presented, includes dispersion of linear waves, acceleration in plasma accelerated channels and Z-pinch, the appearance of solitary waves with large amplitudes, the existence of equilibrium plasma configurations strongly differing from Grad?Shafranov once, etc.
