| Supersonic flows past bodies in the presence of energy deposition localized upstream in different regions were investigated numerically. Gasdynamic flow structure and stability problems are discussed; the efficiency of the wave drag reduction is analyzed. New regimes of flows past blunt and streamlined bodies were found for energy deposition in toroidal-type regions. |
