Abstract
The problem of aerosol aspiration into a thin-walled tube horizontally oriented in low velocity air flow is solved. The air flow is assumed to be incompressible potential. The aspiration efficiency is calculated in the region of a very small ratio Ra of wind and sampling velocities when the gravity influence becomes noticeable. The approximate formula for the aspiration efficiency is constructed for R a?[0, 1].
