The results of laboratory and natural studies of peculiarities and consequences of the occurrence of electric charged structures in gas-dynamic devices are presented. Earlier it was shown, that such structures can arise due to the development in a path of gas- dynamic device of electric diffusion boundary layers, hit on device input from surrounding space extraneous charged and not charged (but charged in a device path) particles and destruction of internal metal elements of the device. To get a deeper insight into these effects, a complex of experimental in-vestigations (including natural tests) was carried out. Measurements were conducted using spe-cially developed probes-antennas. On the basis of these studies, the system of early electrostatic diagnostics of the state of the studied engine and power devices was developed.
