| The Rayleigh ? Taylor instability of an electrifield nonconducting fluid film spread on the lower side of a horizontal dielectric plate is studied in the long-wave approximation. It is shown that due to the electric field action the Rayleigh?Taylor instability development leads to formation of a periodic liquid structure consisting of parallel rolls aligned with the field. |
