The three-parameter differential model of turbulence is used to perform a numerical investigation of characteristics of the flow and heat transfer of the boundary layer on a plate within the range of 1.5-9% of the free-stream turbulence intensities. The calculated increase of the local skin friction coefficient and Stanton number is in agreement with the most representative experimental data. |
