The possibility of forming of the spin flame front during deflagration combustion of propane-air mixture in a flat open slit is experimentally proved. It was found that the spin flame front consists of a head of semicylindrical shape, from which a crescent «tail» stretches. The effect of the size of the gap between the walls of the model combustion chamber and the concentration of propane mixed with air on the laws of the spin flame front distribution are investigated. The areas of existence of the spin flame are determined in the coordinates of the Lewis and Peclet numbers. The physical mechanism that defines the critical conditions for the formation of the spin of the flame front is proposed.
