The aerodynamics of the rotating blade of the wind turbine is studied. Every normal cut is a plane aerodynamic profile of the same type NACA 0015, symmetric with respect to the mid chord. The cuts may differ in their sizes and the angle of incidence. The attack angle for every normal cut is defined by the angle of incidence, as well as by the angle which depends upon the wind speed, being variable over the wing span. In the frame of the accepted physical hy-potheses, explicit expressions for aerodynamic characteristics of the blade are obtained, and the energy produced by the rotating blade is calculated. An inverse problem of optimization of the geometry of such a blade is formulated.
