Abstract
Technique and results of numerical simulation of flows in technical devices using swirling jets for improving mixing, are described. Unsteady effects of flow are analyzed; multiplying mechanisms which can be used for active control of flowfield are determined. Extention of the results on a possible common engineering model of flow is considered.
