In the paper, unsteady problems including immersed air sonic jet flow, jet interaction with a wall and injection into resonator space are investigated in the frame of 2D numerical approach. The resonator is a cylinder with a closed end and its axis coincides with the jet one. The cylinder diameter and the distance to the jet nozzle are varied to obtain different amplitudes and frequencies of the acoustic oscillations. The predicted frequencies of the process are in satisfactory agreement with experimental values.
