Abstract
The article is concerned with an iterative method of estimating the equilibrium parameters of beam with arbitrary cross-sections which made of elastoplastic material. The beam exhibits the strain weakening effect. The convergence of the iterative method is studied; calculations are performed for beams of various cross-sections.
