Abstract
A two-dimensional axisymmetric problem of propagation of a shock wave through a rock mass is presented. The problem is solved by the modified Wilkins's numerical method. On the basis of numeric calculations the influence of shock loading, initial radius and physical-mathematical characteristics of the rock mass on the stressed-strained state is revealed.
