| The behaviour of a multilayered target consisting of intermetallide Al
3Ti - titanium alloy Ti-6-4 layers under high- velocity impact is investigated numerically by a finite element method in an axisymmetrical statement. A failure model of wide-range type is applied for the description of a failure process of intermetallide. The optimum ratio of thicknesses of the components of the composite layer is found for the investigated loading conditions. |
