Abstract
A three-parameter integral fracture criterion is formulated. A comparison between the results of calculation of critical load and the direction of tear using this criterion and the experimental data on the fracture of specimens with stress concentrators is carried out. The data known in the literature as well as new experimental data are used. The availability of two material parameters and additional approximation parameter in the criterion allows one to find a good correlation between the calculated and experimental results.
